BEST Roma

BEST Rome is a student union, which offers a variety of services to the students, graduate and under-graduate, from all the technological faculties of Sapienza Università di Roma. BEST Rome was founded on February 8^th, 1994 by 8 Engineering students, who decided to take the chance and bring the BEST spirit in our city.

From then on the group has grown and, though encountering periods of reflection, it now has more than 25 active members, in continuous growth; the catchment area is broad and comprehends the Mathematics, Physics, Natural Science, Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Medicine, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Architecture and Economics faculties.

The group has established solid business relations with some prestigious companies, such as McKinsey-IFP that contributed to the growth of the union’s prestige in the university: for them BEST Rome has committed itself to establish a preferential communication channel with the students and the graduate.

As a matter of fact BEST Rome offers the students the chance to join an association organized the same way a company is and therefore gaining a flare for working in international teams, to meet deadlines and complete assigned tasks though living and enjoying it in a friendly atmosphere and above all losing themselves in different places and cultures, all of this for a fair price.

Narrating in these few lines some of the experiences that you could live, would be way too reductive. Experiences such as receiving birthday wishes from all quarters of Europe; the feeling of having a whole continent in front of you, where to travel, study, work or gaining awareness of your own social, linguistic and working skills, being able to propose and put yourself up for something, but above all being able to truly “do” something.

All of this BEST Rome has given to its members and lots of other students, according to their personal needs. On one thing we are all in agreement: whoever discovers BEST Rome regrets not having done it before!
